lo kol yom Purim – not every day is Purim

The Hebrew phrase is לא כל יום פורים (lo kol yom Purim) and it literally translates to “Not every day is Purim.

It’s used to remind people that life isn’t always a celebration.

Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the salvation of the Jewish people from a plot to exterminate them in ancient Persia. It’s a joyous occasion marked by costumes, feasting, and the reading of the Book of Esther.”
