Kach (“This is the Way”) was an extreme right-wing anti-Arab party founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane and the Jewish Defense League. It aimed to transfer the Arab population from Israel, prevent it from becoming a majority in the Jewish state. Kach advocated for Israeli sovereignty over all parts of the Land of Israel, the implementation of Jewish law, and a religious-focused educational system. Although it won a seat in the 11th Knesset, it was later disqualified from running due to incitement to racism. After Meir Kahane’s assassination, Kach split into two factions, both of which were disqualified and declared terrorist organizations in 1994.
