Albert Čuba (born July 8, 1983) is a Czech actor, comedian, writer, director, producer, cameraman, screenwriter, and owner of the Divadlo Mír (Mír Theatre) in Ostrava. He founded the theatre in 2017 and continues to be its director, producer, and a performing actor.

Albert Čuba’s Career:
Theatre: Before establishing Divadlo Mír, Čuba was engaged at the Komorní scéna Aréna theatre for twelve seasons. He has performed in numerous plays, including “Ráno po tom” (The Morning After), “Kdo je pan Schmitt?” (Who is Mr. Schmitt?), “Lakomec” (The Miser), and “Chlap na zabití” (A Man to Kill).
Film and Television: Čuba has an extensive filmography, including roles in movies like “Kdyby radši hořelo” (Let There Be Fire), “Tři Tygři ve filmu: JACKPOT” (Three Tigers in Film: Jackpot), and the TV series “Devadesátky” (Nineties) and “sKORO NA mizině” (ALMOST Broke). He is also known for the improvisational show “Tři Tygři” (Three Tigers).
Writing and Directing: He has written two books, “Herec k nepřežití” (An Actor Impossible to Kill) and the novel “Ocelové srdce” (Steel Heart). He has also directed projects like the documentary “Velká cena větroňů” (The Grand Prix of Gliders) and episodes of the internet series “Luptákův vlogísek”.

Teaching: He previously taught stage movement at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava.
