pkida (clerk, executive officer, secretary)

Executive officer, secretary or “pkida” is one of the basic positions for women in the Israeli army. Pkida’s responsibilities in TZAHAL include office work and assisting the commander: paperwork management, scheduling, receiving messages, sorting of mail, etc.

→The training course depends on the place of service. The basic military training (Tironut) is 3 weeks long.

Placement all over the country. Leave for home from the base, in most cases every day (Yomiyot).

Requirements:
Placement according to the preliminary tests results (Yom aMea) or by the sorting officer (Katzin Miyun)
