Loket (Elbogen) je historické město v okrese Sokolov.

Již Goethe řekl, že je to nejhezčí město na sever od Alp.

 

Die gesamte Altstadt steht unter Denkmalschutz. Wegen seines Stadtbildes wurde Loket auch oft als Böhmisches Rothenburg gerühmt. – Celé staré město je pod památkovou ochranou. Loket byl pro svou městskou podobu často vychvalován také jako český Rothenburg.
