שופטים – shoftim

בִּימֵי֙ שְׁפֹ֣ט הַשֹּׁפְטִ֔ים

It comes from the Book of Ruth, Chapter 1, Verse 1 and translates to:

"In the days of the judging of the judges…"

This is the opening line of the story of Ruth and Naomi. The duplication of the word "judges" (שופטים – shoftim) has been interpreted by some commentators as hinting at a period of social unrest or challenges to the authority of the judges.
