Také může být použito jako synonymum pro “besonders” (zvláště):

– Dieses Kleidungsstück ist speziell für kaltes Wetter entworfen. (Tento oděv je speciálně navržen pro studené počasí.)
– Speziell heute sollten wir vorsichtig sein. (Zvláště dnes bychom měli být opatrní.)
