⁧נַצְרוּת⁩ • (natsrút) f Christianity

“נצרות is the Hebrew word for Christianity. It is derived from the Hebrew word נָצְרַת (Natsrat), which means “Nazareth,” the city where Jesus was born and raised.”

From ⁧נָצְרַת⁩ (natsrát, “Nazareth”), the city of Jesus’ origin, and thus the Hebrew term to identify Christians.
