Papst Benedikt XVI. tritt Ende Februar völlig überraschend aus Altersgründen zurück. Etwa 600 Jahre lang hatte es keinen Papstrücktritt mehr gegeben. Er wird am 28 Februar aus Altersgründen zurücktreten.
